I am starting commissions so I can pay for my art supplies, food and maybe (*dreams*) I can pay off some of my tuitions. I already applied for as many jobs as possible for the summer (I need to hear from them) but I really need money.
As an art student, more than $600 dollars are put into art supplies and since I am attending an out of state college, I need $400+ money for food.
I am already in a $60k+ debt and in two years, it will double. After I graduate, I'll have to pay $120,000+ with a high interest from private and student loans. I feel that I'm already asking too much by asking my mother to pay for my education (I’ll be paying her back once I graduate) and then asking her for money for food and art supplies. I want to at least be able to pay for something by doing commissions.
Please help by commissioning me, I really want to lessen my mother’s burden. She only makes about 21k a year and isn't able to save more than 6k because of bills and rent as well as looking after my 5 other family members while I go to school.
